ORIGIN STORY
Growing up I dreamed to be a musician & learned how to play every instrument I could get my hands on. Playing in bands throughout the 90s & getting married in 1994 & starting a family in 1998, there came a time when it was obvious I needed to make more income. Working in warehouses all over Dallas, being encouraged by a great boss, I applied for & got a job in an office as a data entry clerk & thus began my first foray into IT.
I continually pushed for improvement, moving from one company to the next, always pursuing more knowledge & more responsibility. Finally getting my MCSE certification (I have a great story about that – ask me about it sometime) I was off to the (tech) races. Moving from insurance companies to semiconductor manufacturers, I finally got my first real tech job at DR. PEPPER I leveraged that experience to moving to EDS. Then to AT KEARNEY, CONTINENTAL AIRLINES, UNITED AIRLINES, HP, HPE, DXC & later TOYOTA & LEXUS.
But all that time, I had my own company METROTECHNET.
